ionantha Camaleon

A new cultivar of Tillandsia ionantha! Camaleon (kah-mah-lay-OWN) is distinct from other forms in a number of ways that, when combined, make for a striking new addition to the Tillandsia ionantha lineup. It has erect to sub erect leaves and they are thick and succulent. It doesn’t product a lot of leaves and it doesn’t grow particularly large but it does produce many offsets, even before it flowers. Finally, in bright light it blushes with a lot of red color and in low light it’s a bright green.
