Mystic Flame Orange

Air plant Tillandsia Mystic Flame Orange (T. albertiana X T. ixioides (ix-ee-oh-EE-des) is one of the interesting T. albertiana hybrids made by Mark Dimmitt. This one combines the bright cherry of T. alberiana with the intense yellow of T. ixioides. Many people collect these and enjoy their interesting combination of the distichous leaves of T. albertiana with the more common polystichous arrangement of the leaves of T. ixioides. at up to 25 cm, it grows large for an Albert hybrid. This is a variety of Tillandisa Mystic Flame.
