Crista-gallii

Airplant/Tillandsia crista-gallii is a beautiful and rare species that grows well in moderate conditions. With green spreading and even decurving, and long narrowly attenuate leaves, it has an attractive shape. The inflorescence is tall with branched cherry spikes and astor-violet corollas that are typical for species in subgenus Tillandsia. Crista-galli in Latin means crest of the cock. Very rare.
